Richard Busse was one of the founders of Capitol Construction back in 1984. He began his career as a carpenter in the early 1970’s and has enjoyed it ever since. As a true steward of the environment, in his free time Rich and his wife Marlene have planted thousands of trees on their property, having turned it from a prairie into a forest through the years. He also enjoys bringing life to antique tools as well as working in the wood shop on fun side projects.

Aaron Busse started his career in 2002 working along side Richard through his days in college. He enjoys his time outdoors harvesting wood from fallen trees for various projects and loves repurposing materials into furniture. One of his favorite too…

Aaron Busse started his career in 2002 working along side Richard through his days in college. He enjoys his time outdoors harvesting wood from fallen trees for various projects and loves repurposing materials into furniture. One of his favorite tools in the shop is the lathe, making unique items such as wooden bowls and birdhouses. He looks forward to passing knowledge on to his three daughters and engaging their creative side.

Seth Busse received his bachelors degree in construction management in the spring of 2011 before choosing to join the family business. He spent his summers away from college on the job site helping Richard and Aaron where he could. When not at work, Seth enjoys planning and renovating his 1940’s Cape Code style home with his newlywed wife, and he takes any chance he can get to put on his tool belt for new projects.
