Capitol Construction & Remodeling has been serving Lincoln, Nebraska and the surrounding areas since 1984, by offering a wide selection of services for our customers. Our primary focus is interior renovations, kitchens, baths, and finish carpentry. We pride ourselves on making the renovation process as comfortable as possible in the design/planning stages with great communication and organization through the construction process. Showing respect for the homes we work in with cleanliness, and attention to details.

In 1991 Busse’s finished our basement with a bedroom/ family room, new bathroom and laundry room also! Put in a fireplace and bricked the face of it!
In 2002 Rich built an oak mantle and an entertainment center with bookshelves.
Busse’s built a country porch and new roof line with new shingles and put on new siding also in 2001.
In 2016 they gutted and remodeled the Master Bath with all new fixtures and a custom built glass shower with subtitle and accent tiles that turned out beautiful. I have used Capitol Construction 6-8 times for different projects over the past almost 40 years. Good job Rich, Aaron and Seth Busse!

How we work
A consistency of high quality work and great communication with our clients is what we strive for with every project. From demo to the finishing details, we want our customers to get what they’ve come to expect when they bring us on board for a project. Capitol Construction has always self performed as many tasks as possible to guarantee the job is done to a high standard. Our subcontractors and suppliers are well vetted and have worked with us over the years on various projects.
The process to getting there is the most important, second only to the final product. Daily site cleaning along with the use of dust barriers, floor coverings, and sectioning off the work area from the rest of the home are standards for our projects.
